When your website is optimized for organic search, your brand reaches a wider and better audience. When you have a wider audience, you ultimately have a larger pool of potential customers. Think of it this way – if the average eCommerce conversion rate is about 2%, for every 1000 new visitors to your site 20 of them will make a purchase. During a search, Google is measuring the relevancy of your page in the context of a user’s query. Heading tags (H1-H6) count towards this relevancy measurement, so the more strategic your headings are, the better your page will rank. Keep in mind what sort of keywords consumers use to search for products, and implement them in your H tagging.
